Zuluaga Family Reunion 2016 Schedule of Activities

Day 1 - Arrival day, 12th May 2016 (Thursday)

Day 2 - Trip to Ibarrangelu & Natxitua, 13th May 2016 (Friday)

Group bus travel to visit and tour our ancestral roots at both towns
Traditional lunch at Restaurante Lezika, Barrio de Basondo
Tour the fishing village of Lekeitio
Enjoy a Txakoli Experience with a guided tour through a txakoli winery
Dinner at Restaurante Iribar in Getaria
Return to San Sebastian accommodations or do more pintxos crawling and return later to accommodations

Day 3 - San Sebastian & Sociedad Gastronómica Experience, 14th May 2016 (Saturday)

Monte Igueldo Theme Park through its magnificent funicular railway and to enjoy the beautiful city views drinking coffee
Walk thru the Palacio Miramar and its beautiful gardens, relax and enjoy the Concha Bay views
Walk through the promenade that surrounds the bay and see the famous sculpture “Peine del Viento”
Lunch at Restaurante Real Club de Tenis
Walk on to the port area to see Aquarium Donostia (entrance is included) and the Untzi Museoa (Naval Museum)
Continue walking tour though the old town of San Sebastian
Ending the tour at Museo San Telmo
Enjoy a traditional dinner prepare by a private chef from Sociedad Gastronomica at their location
Return to accommodations or find more pintxos bars as San Sebastian has the highest concentration of pintxos venues in the whole of Spain and return to accommodations

Day 4 - San Sebastian to enjoy different activities (participation at your own costs), 15th May 2016 (Sunday)

Water Sports (paddle board, body boarding surfing, swimming)
Hiking (two options)
Bike Tour
Shopping
City Touring (hop on and hop off)
Dine at a dinner location of your own selection (event organisers will provide us with a list)
Return to accommodations or for those with the energy, enjoy your type of evening entertainment and return later to accommodations

Day 5 - Hondarribia/Fuenterrabia & Pelota/Jai Alai Experience, 16th May 2016 (Monday)

Enjoy a guided tour in the coastal town of Hondarribia/Fuenterrabia
See the medieval walled area and the castle of King Charles V
Later we will enjoy a unique Basque Pelota Experience watch, learn and have fun playing pelota
Pintxos will be served before lunch in the pelota court
Lunch at Restaurante Abarka in Hondarribia
Free time to explore Hondarribia (there is a Zuloaga Palace, an urban palace from the 18th century)
Return to San Sebastian for our farewell dinner
Dinner at Belgrado denetatik un poco
Return to accommodations or to find more Pintxos Bars before returning to your accommodations

Day 6 - Depart San Sebastian for your homeward journeys or perhaps a continuation of your vacations, 17th May 2016 (Tuesday)
